The online cinema "Amediateka" has released the official Russian trailer for the "Harry Potter" series. The trailer states that the release will take place in December. This could very well coincide with the world premiere on December 25th.
In the story, eleven-year-old orphan Harry discovers he is a wizard, escapes from his guardians, and goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he is sorted into Gryffindor. He and his new friends discover that the Philosopher's Stone, which grants immortality, is hidden under heavy guard within the castle walls, and suspects Professor Snape of attempting to steal it. To discover the truth, he, Ron, and Hermione must overcome the many dangerous magical barriers protecting the artifact.
The show will feature a dark visual style from the very first season. As a reminder, in the feature-length films, the atmosphere gradually became ominous, reflecting Voldemort's growing power.
The first season will consist of eight episodes.
