The new Resident Evil has already burst into the top.

The Film Distributor's Bulletin published rankings of the most popular films and TV series among Russian pirates in September. These rankings are based not on views, but on the number of illegal copies available on the Russian internet—the more there are, the higher the audience demand.

The action comedy "Mayday," starring Ryan Reynolds, topped the list. Next came the new " Resident Evil ," which was released just a few weeks ago and is still in theaters. Rounding out the top three was the animated film "Wile E. Coyote."
