You might need the exact smartphone model if you want to buy a suitable case or spare part, check support for the required networks, or simply find out all the specifications. You can look up the model number directly on your phone.

On Android

Open Settings and find the "About phone" or "About device" section. The smartphone name and model number are usually listed here.

If instead of a familiar name like Samsung Galaxy A55, you see a designation like SM-A556E, that's the model number. Enter it into your browser's search bar, and you'll see the exact device version at the top of the results.

On iPhone

Go to Settings → General → About. Find the lines labeled "Model Name" and "Model Number."

Here you can also view the iOS version, serial number, and other device information.

If the phone does not turn on

Check the original box or documentation for your smartphone—the exact model is usually listed on the technical information sticker. If you have the receipt or online purchase information, the model name may also be listed there.

The most complex, but reliable, method is to enter your phone's IMEI number into the IMEI.info search engine . You can find the IMEI number on the SIM card tray (or by pressing *#06# in the dialer if the phone is working).
