This document answers questions about issues that Geekinter.com members often email to ask for support from the administration. The document will be updated regularly by the administration to meet the needs of members.

Please try to read this entire document. In fact, 90% of the questions sent via the forum / support email are common problems that almost everyone has encountered, and most of those problems can be solved immediately if you have read the frequently asked questions (this document) or the user guide here

2. Why is my account locked?

Most cases are due to posts violating Geekinter.com Rules. Please review Geekinter.com Rules.

3. I don't want other members to comment in my community?

Community admins may not prevent other members from commenting in their community.

4. Why can't I see my personal messages?

You must login to view.

6. Why can't I comment on some Geekinter.com posts?

You must be logged in to comment on this post. You may not be able to comment because comments are closed.

7. Why can't I change my profile picture and background?

8. Can I pin posts and adjust the order of posts in my community?

In each community you are an Admin or Mod of, you will be able to adjust the order of pinned posts.

9. Why was my post lost/locked?

The reason is that your post violates Geekinter.com's regulations. The administrator does not delete it, but only temporarily hides it. If you really believe that your post does not violate the regulations and want to restore it, please email: hotro@geekinter.com for support.

10. Why was my comment lost/locked?

Maybe your comment is hidden or the post you are commenting on has comments locked.

11. Is there any way to recover my account if I forgot my registration email?

In case you forget your password and do not remember your registered email, please use an active email to send an email to support@geekinter.com. The content requires account confirmation, listing 3-5 email addresses you have used. The Admin will check and support to recover the account.

12. Why can't I post on Geekinter.com?

You need to join new communities to be able to post articles.

13. How do I join the community once I'm logged in?

To join a new community, click the "Join" button.

14. What to do when you cannot log in to Geekinter.com?

You may have entered the wrong password or registered email.

16. How do I find my posts on Geekinter.com?

You go to your "Personal Information" page.

17. How do I change my password or account name?

Please email support@geekinter.com for support.

18. Can I add another member to manage my community?

If you are a community Admin, you have the right to add members to manage the community with you.

19. I have registered but have not received the activation link yet?

Check your email spam folder. If you still don't see it, please go to your profile page to retrieve the activation link.

20. I was writing a post, then went out for a while, came back and continued writing and posted but got an error?

Please email support@geekinter.com for support.

21. How do I delete another member's comment in my community?

Community Admins or Mods cannot delete other members' comments.

22. Why can't other members see my posts?

Your post may be pending moderation.

23. My account is logged in but I can't post?

Most of the time it is because you have not activated your email, in this case please check your email to activate your account. If you have activated your account, you must join the community in which you want to post. For example, if you want to post in the "Happy Travel" community, you must join that community.

24. How do I edit or delete my published post?

You can only edit or delete your post within 30 minutes of posting. After that time, please contact the Admin for support.
